It's not just you, have you picked up a magazine lately? Most of them are laid out in a series of short blurbs, with lots of pretty pictures.
Hulu and other websites are producing shows with 5 minute episodes.
Text messages are limited to 160 characters, and that includes spaces. This limitation has led to the development of shorthand, which is fine when used for texting. However, it has crept out of texting into normal communication. Something that annoys me to no end. I do not expect everyone to be able to write like Edger A. Poe, or Sir Walter Scott (I wish I could), but at least try to spell things properly.
It is tempting to blame video games for the short attention span, but that's not it. Many people will sit for hours playing some game, and think nothing of it. I think they have ruined the imagination, though. It could be why Hollywood seems to make more remakes and adaptations than anything else lately.
Anyone even remotely interesting is mad
in some way or another.
