totally different type of "enamel", with a totally different look.
the original black with speckles coffee pots, or stove doors, were actual glass frit, baked in oven til they fused into one continuous sheet of real vitrious enamel.
Car manifolds are sometimes "enamelled"- but its paint. POR 15 is popular, and its often called enamel, but its nothing like molten glass.
But what puzzles me is how did this thread resurface?
Wasnt the original topic six months old?
