The MK V is, in fact, fairly shallow draft- 3-4 ft, but they were
built as throwaway vessels- they'll last MAYBE 10 years.
Apparently, most people familiar with them feel that they'll likely be
scrapped after their first overhaul. They apparently were someone's
bright idea that sucked.
