Money and politics?  I doubt that.  When these places were built nobody 
knew or cared about such things.  People wanted to live on the seashore 
and the lands came into private ownership by the usual means.  Now they 
are a long-standing fact and that is all there is to say about it.

God forbid your ideas be implemented.  The state has no authority to do 
such things.  Fighting against the use of public funds, OTOH, is a great 
idea.

How is it that all of a sudden you are showing signs of reason?  It's
