Modifying a regulator is a handy thing to know how to do but the simplest 
and safest thing to do is just buy a 0-30 propane regulator from a gas 
supplier. don't forget to put a 1/4 turn ball valve between the regulator 
and the tank for quick shutoff in an emergency.
