[TheForge] any uses for used double-edge razor blades?

hello;

as i was shaving today and changed the blade in my razor i started
thinking if there was any use for used double-edge razor blades. even
dull ones which will barely give you a shave will strap paint off of
glass. i was thinking more along the lines of built up billets.

are they too thin?s
made of too varied metals and coatings to be worth the work required
to make them usable?

i use the double-edge safety razor because i have seen enough of plastic
floating in the oceans and do not want to add to it. yes, in the middle
of the wide oceans there are plastic handle razors floating amongst the
six-pack plastic rings, plastic bags, etc.

the mass of junk from the japan tidal wave is just now beginning to wash
up on the pacific northwest coastline.
