[TheForge] English wheel

Dave,
I'm in a town of under 600, no industry of any kind. I have a friend that's
a machinest in a factory 30 miles away, but I don't think he welds. I got a
call from a new BAM member that just retired from welding, he said he was
going to stop by the next time he is in my area. Maybe he can do the
welding.
I'll give the canvas a try next time I use the press to make a bowl.

Bob, I have two suggestions (for what it's worth)
1. Take your two wheels to your friendly local (small) machine shop.
They will be able to align, weld and turn smooth the two into one.
2. Try using a heavy piece of cloth or canvas between your dies and the
work piece when using the press to form a bowl.
