>From what I can see, I believe you answered your own question. You are
putting a fuse on both lines because you don't know which line will blow
first. In the case of sensitive electronics, you have to think of the price
to replace a fuse vs equipment. You technically only need a ground on 110
because you have to make a complete circuit. So on a 220v system, you have
a hot and a ground on the same leg 1/60th of a second. I personally would
add in a ground somewhere to help aid in preventing a failure and put in
both quick fuses.
