We had a good amount of trees come down and a storm surge of about 4-5
foot above high tide regular. It was a good thing I had taken my welding
machine I keep near the water home for emergency power. Lost power at my
house for about 12 hrs and at my fathers for about 12 with him going off
and on about 4 hours after me. Some were out longer. Had welding machines
powering the sump pumps at both houses. Mine I got power to soon after we
lost power. My father got about 6" before I could get set up there. Had 3
houses I was trying to keep power at with two machines. It was a long weekend
