Todd, A guess -- something is getting hot and getting tight. Could it be
your ram guides? Could be your air cyclinder? Could it be you main spool
valve? What feels hot to the touch?

Subject: [TheForge] Kinyon style hammer help
Several years ago, I built a power hammer based off of the Kinyon plans.
I did the modification with the regulator to balance strike and return
pressures.
Anyway, it seems to have a bit of a problem. After running for about 15
minutes, the speed of the ram slows way down. This doesn't seem to have
anything to do with the switch sticking (I installed a line oiler right
before the sensor switch), or the height of the work. It seems to be
mostly time of use related. I need some help in figuring out what is
wrong and fixing it. I'm willing to post pictures or run tests as
needed.
Here is a link to a video I made shortly after I built it.
