hello;

i am not entirely sure that the oceangraphic community has all the
"smarts". the rovs are entirely "home built" no off-the-shelf parts.
this has allowed for the use of lighter weight alloys. the tool sleds
carry a rather bizarre range of tools, from dental picks to a dental
drill.

there is always room to include those "outside the box" in discussions.
