Aluminum will work and is commonly used, thicker may be your answer. HY 80
and HY 120 steel and Titanium are common Military sub. pressure hull
materials. Even fairly mundane composite materials are use successfully in
smaller pressure vassals. I suggest you contact someone with application
specific experience rather than asking us to reinvent established
technology.
