hello;
our gramdma cat is still going strong, she will be 22 yrs old on 29
march 2011. my daughter received her as a kitten from a school friend in
1989.
after i came home from my 4 month stay in the hospital in 2007, she
began to sleep next to me curled by in my armpit with her head on my
shoulder. her soft purring did help relieve some of the breakthrough
pain that i was experiencing.
i am not sure how much she will be with us but she is doing okay for
being 104 in human years according to the vet. the vet is amazed that
she has all her teeth, is not blind, nor is she deaf. she has giving up
mousing.
grandma cat reinforces the adage:
dogs have masters
cats have slaves
