I don't know how one would work as I don't know how much power is needed for
the buff, etc. A buff can drag a motor right down if used with a heavy hand
say needing to get to the bottom of a longitudinal feature like a flute,
etc. Also, as I recall electric auto fans don't turn very fast but that's
just an eyeball perception from me when I wasn't interested enough to try
estimating RPM. They are more torquey compared to a heater blower motor
though. It's still an idea well worth trying if the opportunity arises.
