We were at a reenactment two years ago and lightning hit a tree in the park 
about 50 yards from us. Sounded like a bomb and blew all the bark off of the 
tree, left it pure white. It was a wild weekend, that was when I decided 
that there had to be a better way to make a living as a blacksmith and 
started phasing out events that required me to camp.
