James,
Yes, it has been quiet. It might seem that you have been dropped from
the list, but I imagine that others are also trying to work in the cold
environment. Saturday, I ran my skid loader moving snow and then
finished up with snow blower blowing snow until I was almost too cold to
pee.
There are no pictures that I want to post about that. But in less than 60
days: March 21, comes Spring Equinox.
I had a small room that for the past 115 years had been used as a food-
pantry adjacent to our kitchen. We first remodeled the kitchen, then
removed the cabinets from the Pantry, rebuilt the subfloors, took out
some of the old plaster and lath, and then dry-walled and plumbed it for a
bathroom, with sink, stool, and shower.
I had originally intended to finish the project last fall. With the cold
weather @ 15 degrees below zero this morning, inside projects like that,
which I've put off for so long, now come to forefront.
Last week, my wife did take a kitchen photo of me working on some project,
using my small anvil that I had hauled into the house, and had sitting on
her kitchen cabinets.
Cheers,
Dann Johnson
P.S.
Not in Minnesota... but we can see Minnesota from here !
( Going shopping for stuff to finish a project @ Home Depot in Mankato,
MN this morning )
