Snow and ice1...burrr! I sort of regard NE winters as = to Ca summers..except the temp is a bit more comfy and not quite as inconvenient.
N and So Ca are almost different states. And being a coastal yokel, i have very little idea what goes on inland.
Being a Valley Boy i'm real familiar with the burn and slide seasonal dance, and unfortunately, this place is just on the Chaparral side of that climatological divide. Kinda regret not being farther north.

Central valley..sometimes think of the folks who are in selenium deficient
parts of the world and wonder if there's an ignored medicinal plant export market ignored.
