	That would be a fun project.  I'd grind the bottom good and flat and 
chamfer 3/4" deep, fabricate a base of appropriately sized square stock 
and a 2" thick steel foot.  Weld together.  Drill and counterbore a hole 
for a 1" or 1.5" bolt.  Bore and tap hole in anvil.  Screw the mess 
together and torque mightily.  Weld the waist and plug weld the bolt in 
place.  Voy-luh!  New anvil.
