[TheForge] OT -- East Coast correspondents -- how goes H. Irene?

So far, there's no problem here, in my part of CT. Of course, where we
are, we're on the back side of the third ridge of hills, and at 300
feet. If we go, all of CT, RI, and chunks of MA and NY will be long
gone.

We're just getting a bit of rain, so far.
Our only concern will be loss of electric.
Other preparations included filling our 200 g hot tub, in case we need
water. We also have drinking water in jugs,
