Since this is such a rare event and since some of us sometimes get too
caught up in what we're doing to pay attention to the weather
forecast, I figured I'd give you guys a heads-up. Getting warned an
extra time won't hurt anybody.
I'll be spending some of the next two or three days putting away all
the loose stuff in the yard, and maybe will tape the windows before
this storm hits.

It's not every day you see a hurricane forecast cone pointed into the Northeast.
In fact, the concern among meteorologists is high. National Hurricane
Center Director Bill Read: "We are very concerned with what's going to
happen in New England. The benchmark is the 1938 hurricane. I am very
concerned with what will happen there."
The potential is real for the strongest hurricane hit on the Northeast
in at least a couple decades this weekend!

Their map (as of 10 PM Wed.) shows it as category 2 over NJ on "Sunday PM".
