RR rail is 1085, low alloy and makes very nice blades. Either the flange or
web preferably, the rail cap is just TOO MUCH forging. Oh yeah, try to avoid
Yard rail as it's a higher alloy containing a significant percentage of
Vanadium making it a lot harder to get good results from. That's rail mill
marked with a V or a Y.
