No 24 pints of the latter.

We had thousands of VERY good apples this year and had to do something
with them.  Bibi sold a load at Dulles @ $0.50/per and I guess we will
now sell off most of the sauce, which should be excellent as baby food,
now that I think of it.

Each has its place that is for sure.

	Well, I guess time will tell for us on that bit.  So far, we cannot 
produce enough eggs for people.  Unfortunately, that god damned goldn 
eagle took about 80 of our birds this summer.  I shot at it plenty but 
I'm not a wing shooter and therefore could not hit the broadside of a 
barn.  The bastard got away.

	Yeah, we haev about 5 cases of pear sauce - most excellent, and some 
pear butter as well.  Our peach marmalade came out absolutely 
fantastically.  We made grandma's way - the American way is lazy and 
nasty with using pecting and all that.  But if you take the time and 
cook the peaches down instead of using pectin, you get a very different 
result.  I want to put in a load of apricot trees.
