With all due respect for the veterans of the Viet Nam war, I see
nothing manful about trying to kill another person.  It is sometimes
necessary, but never a good solution to a problem.  I consider it a
lot less necessary than do the leaders of our country.  I wonder how
many wars this country would have fought if it had been a truly
democratic decision by all citizens.

But I don't intend to start a flame war.

I actually wrote to suggest that, under the auspices of ABANA, a
scholarship be set up to send someone to apprentice with this man.  It
could cover air fare and some minimal stipend. Open to persons who
already know the basics of blacksmithing.  Unfortunately, I am not in
a position to fund this myself.  Any thoughts?
