He's lucky, birds like that eagle, usually grab the head of their target. Thus, they usually break the skull, neck, or both and may do so without cutting flesh. Strong birdie feet.

Black! Gee. When the big kitty comes into the neighborhood around here,
the coyoters vanish one by one and don't return for a couple of years.
