[TheForge] post sand blasting

Hey other metal folks!

I just got overly excited about a sand blaster I had access to for an afternoon. I took the scale off a little steel piece I made. Forgot how porous it makes the steel. Is there a coating I can put on the will stop the finger marks but maintain at least a bit of the finish? Wax maybe?
