Tis true, The large metal manufacture that I work for, for 32 always wanted
to know if you were exposed to "loud noise" outside of the work place from a
hoppy such as "wood working", "music" etc. They never ask about
blacksmithing but I sure it would have gone on the record if they had the
information. Reason, they didn't want to pay claims for hearing loss for
the work environment if they could say the problem was what you did at home.
