[TheForge] rust and Penetrol

Hi all,

thanks so much for all the tips!

more questions of course.
what neutralizes the steel? Can i just rinse it well with water?
where does one generally get Penetrol and is it something you just apply and
let dry? I'm in Canada so maybe you can suggest the type of place if not an
actual one.
To answer Dave i think, it's just a cold steel sculpture made out of 3/4 rod
with some added steel balls and stuff. I thought i'd just try one and see
how it goes. I see other folks at shows with these shiny rusted things and
thought it'd be good to figure out one just as an option of a finish. I'm
being super lazy this year and not coating anything else and going to talk
it up as "natural" since i usually coat with a clear lacquer and it rusts
anyway but in little icky spots. better they spray it themselves and then
they have only themselves to blame ;-)
