So far so good...but it's early in the game. The fabric seems tighter 
woven than carharts. Not long ago i had actual growing flames spread up 
my leg from a worn cuff fringe..started by a bit of cutting slag. That 
never used to happen in days of yore.
When i wrote and inquired years back, carhart responded, 1. there was no 
claim of fire resistance, and 2. that they had made no change.
I thought, that's BS and made a change myself.
