Copper phosphorous "solders" are technically braze alloys as they melt
at over 850F They owe their low melting point to the copper
phosphorous eutectic @ 1317 F. I have not seen any use of cadmium in
them but it is always a good idea to verify with a MSDS. Over at
Harris website http://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/consumables/msds.asp
there are spec sheets for their alloys . Most manufacturers have such
info on the web now.
