My dad works for a truss plant. He use to buy the sawdust and thick
shavings from them for our horse bedding. Now the owner bought a machine
from Germany that will compres the shavings into wood starter blocks for
fireplaces.

In short everything has a thousand different uses you just have to make
it affordable.
