[TheForge] Misc tales of woe and a 7 y/o great granddaughter

I busted a gut Friday,(literally) doing my exercises for my  busted shoulder
from a nasty wreck 5 years ago.  Dr. V said it's a hernia but this one is
above my belly button. Meat cleaver & dull butcher knife time again. Boo,
hiss, but I won't put this one off like last time.

 

I had Breianna yesterday afternoon at the office and she went home with me.
She was working on the anvil last night to make a heart for her mom, so I
let her beat on a round bar and make the curves around the jig to form it.
Looked pretty damn good when she put a coat of wax on it. Now I have an
incentive to clean out my barn. (-:]> She impressed me when she asked for
safety glasses before doing anything; I had impressed upon her that God only
gives you one pair of eyes and she remembered.
