Dave,  Don't know if you have a flypress but for a limited number of rings 
you can do them in the flypress by using an offset tool that brings the 
press force in front of the press.  Kind of like a heavy "L" shaped top tool 
working into a pair of bottom dies or rounds.  Not a Hossfeld by any means 
but works for 1 off rings if you already have the press.  I have never done 
this with a hydraulic arbor press but don't know why that wouldn't work too.
