I like those massive old tools. I have an ancient milwalkee 3/4" drill
motor that has a 5 # flywheel just benind the gear cluster.
It's a real wrist buster..Almost tossed a friend off the top of a 20'
extension ladder.
I took it apart a few years ago, to replace the bearings..but none were
available..neither SAE nor Metric fit.
Wasn't all that bad, guess i'll put it back together.
Last new tools i got from milwaukee were over engineered and under built
POS. ( what's the plural?)...made in china. sigh.
But truth be told, when i do have to run a big auger through a timber..i
go for my old hole-hog.
