I think at this point there is pretty much agreement from responsible 
scientists that global climate change is a fact, the main issue is 
whether or not it is a result of man.  This is at the macro level.  At 
the micro level, i.e. specific cities and regions,  I think it is 
obvious that man is changing the local climate.    I am with Pascal on 
this one.    As regards Al Gore he is singular in that he hasn't lost 
any of his effectiveness since leaving office.    His wife though used 
to chap my ass.   One of the most entertaining TV segments I ever saw 
was her debate with Frank Zappa.
