	That really is not the issue.  It is that they are willing to enforce 
unconstitutional law and policy that is the problem.  Take the drug 
laws, for instance.  Wholly unconstitutional and without any moral force 
whatsoever, yet they are VIGOROUSLY enforced and tons of the guys 
working drug interdiction really get off on the authority and the 
adrenalin.  As a saying goes, war is a drug.

	All that aside, there are those who believe they are doing the right 
thing.  Forget the shameful and unforgivable ignorance of such a 
position and focus solely on the good intentions.  The 9-lane 
superhighway to hell is paved with good intentions.

	Government, as it were, exists for but ONE single legitimate purpose: 
the guaranty and protection of human rights.  That's it.  There is no 
other legitimate function one can name.
