After all the talk of Permalac, and I've never used it, I wonder what your experience is with how long lasting it is if you've used it.
The Performance Tests below come from the Permalac website and seem a little unbelievable to me. What the hell do they mean by
Thermal Cycling from 3500 degrees to 100 degrees Farenheit??? How could there have been no change when whatever it was on, burned up or melted?
Anyway, they say to expect 10 or more years service life. I wonder if I can even get that with my automotive urethanes that I spray.
Just wondering what the 'real world' life expectancy of the finish is?

Performance Tests
Kitchen Dishwasher, with Electrosol:

25 Cycles: No change in appearance.
50 Cycles: Some spotting and pitting. No significant change in gloss, adhesion, and hardness.
Accelerated Indoor Heat Aging: (6 weeks at 1580o F)

No significant change.
Thermal Cycling: (10 cycles 3500o F to 100o F)

No significant change.
