[TheForge] glue not effected by gasoline?

I used that on my first bike- it was a Suzuki 250 trials, top speed about  
45, would just about climb trees.
It ...sort of...worked- never for very long. I'd always look down between  
my legs at the magnesium gas tank leaking gasoline and think, "This can't  
be good" but it takes a lot to deter a young man who wants to make loud  
noises and romp on stuff.
I did however fix a pickup gas tank with a stick coated with  
Permatex...never leaked again, just enlarged the hole enough to jam it in,  
years later it was still dry...and not because I never put more than a few  
gallons at a time in it- again, kid stuff...
