it would appear that you need one of these handy dandy devices.

if it will drive an 11 inch diamater post ten feet long into the ground
just think what it would be able to do to red hot steel that is all but
screaming out to be pounded into something of wonderous creation!

may also come in handy to deal with the rude neighbors who complain
about your blacksmithing at 0600 am on saturday and sunday mornings.
just pound them right into the ground.
