[TheForge] Fw: scaffolding

Terry, that is way more scaffolding then you will need most of the time.
If you have a really big job, then rent the extra needed. -- that is why it
is good to have the same type as some rental outlets in your area.

I have 3 sections, (6 - 5x5 step ends) 6 X-braces and 2 aluminum-wood deck
walk boards.
I also have 4 casters. Total investment about $ 500, but I had rented them
first and got my full rental off the purchase price. (They were new when I
rented them.)

I wish I had, two more walk boards and 4 each leveling jacks -- but I have
never gone after them. For one job I rented the leveling jacks. Keep in
mind it only takes 1/2 of a set when you go long and not up, plus the
braces. You can make extra braces.

With the above I build a large timber frame house, a 48 x 60 shop, and a 24
x 30 garage. A friend has them right now building his house. We have also
used them a bunch of times for work around the John C. Campbell Folk School
during blacksmith work week.

Dave
