[TheForge] forge smells

Well..
i accidentally started up my forge for the first time today. :-)
i hooked up the tanks and checked for leaks but the valve on the tank
was open!! Thus...i figured i'd best light the thing!

No one died.

However....

there was a lot of smoke! Not smoke as much as....stuff hanging in the
air. It didn't smell like Propane thank -god. Is it just the smell of
the bricks and some black paint being as it's the first firing?

I recognize the smell from a Smith's studio i took a class in.
i guess as long as i have the fan sucking air and air coming in ...
it's normal??
