I know Burt Foster. He is an excellent bladesmith. I watched him demo at the Haywood Community College at the Appallachian Bladesmithing Symposium hosted by Jim Batson this past March. 

I don't know the fellow in Nicaragua, but I can certainly vouch for Jason Knight. He too is a fine bladesmith. These boys aren't about to scam you. 

On a second subject, I want to thank all of you who rang your anvils for Mr. Simmons yesterday. I am sorry that I didn't participate but I was away from the computer and just now am catching up. He was a fine man and loved an anvil that rang like a bell...
