Just different uses Bob. Quite possibly 4140. Be nice to that 
friend..there are some wonderful Cat parts for a guy inclined to make 
his own tools.
I got a giant, cracked CV joint, for example, that has become 3 forming 
stakes already and there's still some of it left.
