I have two 4.5" with the quick change nuts and I have no problem with them 
heating up unless I have been using them for hours straight and at that 
piont I am shot. I have one of their chinese attempts and it is better than 
other chinese grinders but it usually the last resort in the shop. I 
usually leave a thin cut off wheel on it so it doesnt work too hard. The 
German ones work hard and long with no problems.
