[TheForge] emergency road trip to north carolina

hello;

extended family issue , my father's oldest sister my aunt has taken a
turn for the worse and they do not expect her to live out the week. i am
making a road trip to winston-salem, north carolina. i am driving the
pickup truck, gets harrible gas mileage but is built like a tank.

i am taking the indiana, ohio, west virginia, virginia, north caroline
route that google maps laid out for me. i did attempt to get the doctors
to give me the okay to fly but that is a no go. thing about blood clots
and high altitude and having a suicide wish nonsense. anyway, my
father's youngest sister is taking care of the oldest sister. the
youngest sister's husband has a rare form of leukemia. he is being kept
alive on blood transfusions. there is a high likelyhood that i will be
attending two funerals next week.

after the family duties are completed i was wondering if there is anyone
along the way that would not mind a vistor and to share a cup of coffee
and stories.

i know there are at least two members of theforge e-mail list in west

i am figuring on being gone two weeks.

since i am taking the pickup truck if anyone has something that they
need delivered let me know and we will see what we may work out.
