I don't think I agree with the fingerprints, but I can understand the
motivation. If you were in charge of a park, and had gotten ripped off a
few times you'd be more cautious about hiring. I'd think a regular
criminal check would be fine, though. Maybe they are worried about
someone signing up with a false ID or something, but checking
fingerprints still seems a bit much.
