[TheForge] Green concrete

We have been using fly ash in concrete for over 30 years because of the increase in workability and strength.  Interesting that some are now calling this "green".

For anyone that has ever worked with concrete, green concrete will always be considered to be concrete that is not fully cured and it gets its name from its color.

As an architect, I think it is great that the users are finally asking us to consider the environment when we build.  But I am also very tired of the manufacturers, producers and salesmen who push "green" when there really isn't much green there.
