I simply cannot imagine anyone playing intentional "games" with the
authorities.

Most every rural property that I've ever seen, has some hemp growing as
weeds some where, from the days it was legally grown for making rope.

Putting a patch of potted tomatoes in some remote area of the farm might
feel funny, but who is to know for sure, that some neighbor kid hasn't
planted some real weed on your ground.

Surprise, surprise, but if the authorities felt they had been baited
before, it is unlikely they would be understanding, if they really found
something.

I've served on a jury a few times. While it is supposed to be Innocent
until Proven Guilty. I'd think
you would in an expensive, uphill battle if authorities found cultivated
weed.

The way the laws are today, if authorities found any cultivated weed plus
firearms on the same property, it wouldn't be much fun trying to stay
out of jail.
