There's a lot of em like that.
I've only worked in the building trades on custom homes, and mostly for  
contractors who really want to make a thing of beauty and integrity.
They mostly get their asses kicked for stubbornly doing things correctly  
even when the client wants to take shortcuts or leave things out.
We built a gorgeous custom place for a well to do couple who cried bitter  
tears when their dream home came in at 540k...but they sold it a few  
months ago (less than a decade later) for 1 1/4 mil.
Good contractors often take a hit for doing what benefits everyone, poor  
ones just get the job done.
