Safe deposit boxes are not safe anymore. Leave one inactive a couple
years, it'll be empty when you go to retrieve your stuff - even if
you were paying for it all along. Big scandal. Banks are cleaning
out the boxes and the state sells off the contents at auction. You
might get back what THEY got for it - after a lawsuit - but not what
the appraised value was.
