Friends,
A little "netiquette" is called for here.
The robot that handles all of TheForge mail did not like the last one
from Freddie.
Here is what the robot told me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 List: TheForge at mailman.qth.net
   From: freddiewarner at hotmail.com
   Subject: RE: temporary heat shield
Reason: Message body is too big: 53381 bytes with a limit of 40 KB
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The robot rejected Freddie's e-mail because it was way too long.
When you reply to someone's email on this list you should take a
second or two to clean-up the
string that you are replying to. Everyone participating in that thread
has already read the
associated messages and and is aware of what's been said. I had to
supersede the robot's decision
and allow the post to be published. Editing the messages is not hard
and is the proper thing
to do to help save bandwidth and storage.
